Locations

Hobbs Rehabilitation has a number of inpatient and outpatient centres across the south of England, with a range of neurotechnology at each location. We currently operate within Berkshire, Bristol, Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire with all our facilities offering our multidisciplinary service.

The First Step: Assessment

Your journey with Hobbs Rehabilitation begins with a comprehensive assessment. During this initial evaluation, our clinicians will take the time to understand your medical history, current condition, and rehabilitation goals. This information forms the foundation of your bespoke treatment plan, ensuring that every aspect of your recovery is carefully considered. The assessment may be with one therapist such as a physiotherapist, or with several clinicians from other specialities such as occupational therapy or speech and language therapy. This is known as a multidisciplinary (MDT) or interdisciplinary (IDT) assessment.

Setting Realistic Goals

Recovery is a process, and setting realistic goals is crucial for tracking your progress and maintaining motivation. Our multidisciplinary therapy team will work closely with you to establish achievable short-term and long-term goals that align with your aspirations. Whether it’s regaining strength, improving mobility, or enhancing your daily activities, we will support you in every way possible. In long-term conditions where recovery is not the goal, we will work with you to ensure that your full potential is reached and those around you have the tools and education/resources to support you to lead a meaningful life.

Neurological Rehabilitation

Evidence shows it takes 400 to 600 repetitions of one movement to start to create a neuroplastic change in the brain. At Hobbs Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing our patients with the most effective neurological rehabilitation possible. We accomplish this by seamlessly integrating hands-on, focused rehabilitation services with cutting-edge neurotechnology. This comprehensive approach not only accelerates the recovery process but also ensures our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Supportive Environment

We understand that rehabilitation can be challenging, and setbacks are a natural part of the process. That’s why we’ve created a supportive and nurturing environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your concerns and asking questions. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it helps us tailor your treatment plan to your evolving needs.

Community and Peer Support

Our patients tell us that at times, dealing with the reality of a neurological condition can be a lonely journey, but at Hobbs Rehabilitation, you are not alone. We encourage you to take advantage of our community and peer support, where you can connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Sharing stories and experiences can be incredibly empowering and motivating; our patients love to see people like them represented and they regularly tell us they feel part of the Hobbs family.

Celebrating Your Achievements

Every milestone, no matter how small, is a reason to celebrate. Our team will be there to acknowledge and applaud your achievements along the way. These moments of success are not just markers of progress but also reminders of your resilience and determination.
