In 2005, neurological physiotherapists Helen Hobbs and Nicky Ellis set up Hobbs Rehabilitation and since then it has expanded rapidly offering an exceptional level of personalised skill and expertise. Hobbs Rehabilitation provides specialist inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation for adults and children across the south of England, treating a wide variety of conditions including stroke, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries. 

An expert team of over 100 therapists, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and Neuropsychology, provide a multidisciplinary patient-centred neurorehabilitation service, ensuring the individual is placed at the centre of care.

Professional Lead Speech & Language Therapist

£47,000-£54,000

Winchester & Laverstock

The Professional Lead for Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) will be based at Hobbs Winchester and Laverstock as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team,working with both inpatient and outpatient clients who have complex neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, complex poly-trauma including amputees, progressive neurological conditions, as well as other non-neurological and/or specialist speech, language and swallowing conditions such as facial palsy, head and neck cancer and voice disorders. This role would be suited to someone with existing specialist skills in adult neurology, with experience of management and leadership, looking to further develop their skills in these areas.

Specialist Paedriatric Physiotherapist

An exciting role has arisen for an enthusiastic and skilled paediatric physiotherapist to join our existing specialist therapy team at Hobbs Rehabilitation, providing clinic and community based physiotherapy. We are looking for an enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist with excellent clinical and communication skills. This role will be predominantly based in our Winchester clinic, working with paediatric outpatients alongside some community visits. You will be working with children and young people with neurological, neuromuscular and developmental conditions, although a wider background in paediatrics or a specialist interest is welcome. Within clinic you will have the opportunity to use the available neurotechnology to enhance your treatment sessions and the rehabilitation programmes for your clients.
