Dr. William Pearson

Dr William Pearson is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). He has completed further qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr Pearson has worked in the NHS and private health settings since 2007. He has experience working in specialist neurological rehabilitation in inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings with a range of conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and dementia. Dr Pearson works therapeutically using a range of models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative, and systemic approaches. His clinical and research interests include identity/sense of self and facilitating psychological adjustment in the context of neurological conditions for both the patient and their significant others. He works part-time at Hobbs Rehabilitation based in Salisbury.
