In 2005, neurological physiotherapists Helen Hobbs and Nicky Ellis set up Hobbs Rehabilitation and since has expanded rapidly offering an exceptional level of personalised skill and expertise. Operating from multiple locations across the south of England, with inpatient, outpatient and community settings, Hobbs Rehabilitation provides multidisciplinary therapy for neurological conditions where the individual is placed at the centre of care.
At Hobbs Rehabilitation our mission is to provide specialist neurological rehabilitation for adults and children, to contribute to educational resources for the development of clinical excellence and to participate in furthering the access to these at a national and strategic level.
Hobbs Rehabilitation is in a unique position, working alongside the NHS and across the whole patient pathway, allowing us to intricately weave together the threads of care from start to finish.
Hobbs provides pre and post-graduate educational services to universities on a national scale. Our role encompasses program instruction, student placement facilitation and active participation as clinical partners in collaborative research initiatives.
Our exceptional clinical expertise empowers us to cultivate valuable partnerships with many national charities and organisations. We harness collective knowledge and resources to enhance our impact and provide holistic care.
The success of the service has been built creating a real sense of teamwork. All our centres are staffed by fully qualified, professional therapists who have a real passion for what they do and the difference they can make in people’s lives. With clinicians in neurological physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation consultants its never been easier to achieve a holistic package of rehabilitation.
Hobbs Rehabilitation is recognised as setting the standard of clinical excellence in the field of neurological rehabilitation. Our strong affiliations with organisations such as the CSP, NHS England and leading hospitals encourage a collaborative approach to advancing neurorehabilitation.
We are at the forefront of the adoption of neurotechnology into clinical practice alongside hands-on therapy. Acting as the clinical lead for several prominent bodies, we run national training courses and regularly present case studies and research internationally.
