Case Study

Ken | Idiopathic Parkinson's | South East

May 8, 2025

In October 2021, KR had an unresponsive episode, requiring CPR and was admitted to Frimley hospital with bilateral fractures, and a pelvic fracture requiring fixation. He was also referred to Neurology, and subsequently diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease.

He recovered with lots of hard work, and was able to walk his daughter down the aisle for her wedding.

Unfortunately KR suffered another fall in 2023 and fractured his hip which required surgical repair. His mobility took another hit, and he has been working really hard with the incredible support from his wife to get back more independence, balance and confidence.
