Dr. Rebecca Andrews is a principal Clinical Psychologist with broad experience in psychological assessment and treatment, currently specialising in neurorehabilitation. Rebecca’s career has spanned various healthcare settings, including private practice and NHS hospitals, where she has provided care to individuals with cognitive, behavioural, and emotional challenges, as well as their loved ones and care teams.
In Rebecca’s current role at Hobbs Rehabilitation Intensive Neurotherapy Centre, she works with diverse populations, conducting comprehensive assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary teams to offer holistic patient care.
Rebecca’s approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and systemic principles, amongst others, to tailor therapeutic interventions to individual backgrounds and needs. In addition to direct patient care, she has experience in providing supervision, improving service delivery, research and conducting medico-legal neuropsychological assessments. Her work emphasises culturally responsive care, often involving interpreters, and she maintains a commitment to ongoing professional development to ensure the most effective outcomes for her patients.
