Hobbs Rehabilitation South East
Due to the continued growth and expansion of Hobbs services at our clinic in Liss we have a number of different opportunities for one or more enthusiastic and skilled Neuro Physiotherapists to join our existing specialist therapy teams at Hobbs Rehabilitation, the largest independent provider of specialist neurological rehabilitation to adults and children in the south of England. We are looking for someone with excellent clinical skills and experience in neurological rehabilitation across the clinical pathway, including specialist assessment, treatment planning and complex discharge planning. Depending on the skills and preferences of the applicant(s) we may be able to consider full- or part-time, job share, rotations or focusing in one clinical area.
There are currently opportunities within the following teams:
● Adult outpatients, community and intensive rehabilitation – acquired neurological conditions, including brain injury, spinal injury, vestibular and post-concussion, and use of advanced neurotechnology
● Paediatric outpatients and community – acquired and developmental neurological conditions including intensive rehab and the use of neurotechnology
● A supportive, friendly, and experienced clinical team who are passionate about paediatric rehabilitation
● Development of clinical skills through 1:1 and group supervision, training, and networking opportunities
across the company including support to access external training and CPD events
● Development of CPD through an extensive programme of internal CPD activities, in-service training, and service development projects
● A strong rehabilitation research culture within the company, with opportunities to be involved in research projects and teaching through the MiNT Academy
● Attending regular team meetings and becoming part of the experienced company-wide physiotherapy team with a range of varied specialisms

● Assessing patients with acquired and/or developmental physical and cognitive impairments using a range of formal and informal assessments
● Practice safely within the legal and ethical boundaries of the profession
● Formulate patient-centred goals in conjunction with MDT where appropriate
● Create and provide one-to-one and group physiotherapy intervention to patients with acquired physical and cognitive impairments, using a comprehensive knowledge of evidence-informed practice and treatment options
● Evaluate patients’ progress using published outcome measures
● Liaison with the Hobbs MDT and wider care team
● Maintain up to date and accurate clinical notes using site-specific software and local procedures
● Write high quality patient reports
● Attend and contribute to patient and family meetings, both face-to-face and via video
● Participation in clinical education and research
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Experience of working as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary team
● Neurological rehabilitation experience across the clinical pathway
● Commitment to developing self and others through training, supervision and mentoring
● Innovative and creative thinking with vision to improve and develop services for the future
● Confidence engaging with local community services including facilitating patients within the community
● Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the service
● The successful candidate must have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel to training and community visits
● Recognised Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
● HCPC registration
● Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
● Knowledge and understanding of physiotherapy assessment and treatment approaches relating to neurological conditions
