BlazePod

Interactive, responsive training that helps develop reaction time, coordination, balance and cognitive-motor skills through engaging, adaptable activities.

What is it?

BlazePod is an interactive, sensor-based training system comprising light-up pods and a digital app. The pods provide visual cues that prompt users to respond through movement or touch, with activities and difficulty levels that can be customised to the individual. It can be used with both adults and children across rehabilitation, fitness and sports settings.

How can interactive, responsive training support progression and engagement during rehabilitation?

Interactive, responsive training can make rehabilitation more engaging by encouraging active participation and repeated practice. Activities can be adapted and progressed to challenge physical and cognitive-motor responses, making the system particularly useful within rehabilitation programmes such as concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. Real-time feedback can also help guide performance and track changes in speed, accuracy and response.

Concussion, Vestibular & Neurological Rehabilitation

Suitable for adults and children undergoing rehabilitation, including concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. It can support functional goals such as improving balance, coordination, reaction time, visual-motor skills and cognitive-motor performance to support everyday movement and activity.

lazePod can be incorporated into a wide range of therapy sessions where clinically appropriate. Its fast-paced, interactive format can help develop reaction time, decision-making, movement and adaptability in real time, while turning rehabilitation goals into meaningful and measurable activities. The interactive nature of BlazePod can also encourage people to challenge themselves and track their progress, helping to build confidence, resilience, fitness and stability.

Conditions We Use It For

Our clinicians can use the light-up pods to create interactive training activities tailored to your needs and rehabilitation goals. You’ll respond to the visual cues by moving or touching the pods, with your clinician able to adjust the activities and difficulty as you progress. The accompanying app records your performance, allowing your clinician to monitor your responses during sessions.
At Hobbs Rehabilitation, your clinician may incorporate BlazePod into your treatment programme as part of your wider rehabilitation. It can be used across outpatient, inpatient and intensive rehabilitation programmes, with activities selected and adapted to complement your individual therapy goals. Your clinician will integrate its use into your wider programme where appropriate, alongside other therapeutic approaches and technologies.
