Get Active with South East throughout February

February 1, 2024

At Hobbs Rehabilitation, we believe that a strong community spirit and genuine relationships with our patients is essential to their rehabilitation journey – as well as expert treatment from our interdisciplinary therapists of course! The team at Hobbs Rehabilitation South East have set up “Get Active Month”, to encourage increased physical activity for patients, their families and employees throughout February and have set a goal of travelling from Land’s End to John o’Groats as a team.

If desired, individuals can participate in collating miles by running, walking, pushing, cycling, or swimming (or however else you might like!) whilst outside enjoying nature or in the gym and logging your miles with Hobbs Rehabilitation South East.

Lizzie Williams, Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist, comments “Get Active Month at Hobbs Rehabilitation South East is one of the many events that we hold throughout the year and is part of what brings us together as a community. Our aim is to educate, inspire and motivate all of our staff and patients to be more physically active this month and create lifelong habits to help us live well for longer. To keep us on track we have set ourselves the challenge to travel between Land’s End and John o’Groats, be this counted in steps, metres, kilometres or miles, every little helps. Please get involved and help us reach our goal!”

If you would like to participate in the challenge, please contact Hobbs Rehabilitation South East on 01730 890 072 and don’t forget, if you do participate please feel free to tag Hobbs Rehabilitation on Social Media and use #getactive.
