Hobbs Rehabilitation provides services at every stage of your recovery post-hospital stay. Our inpatient treatment programmes can include 24-hour nursing care and are provided by a full interdisciplinary team including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical neuropsychology and a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant to help ensure that each individual can reach their full potential. Respite and intensive packages are available at differing sites. 

Who is it Suitable For?

Hobbs Rehabilitation offer inpatient rehabilitation for those with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries or those who would benefit from intensive specialist rehab. We accept those who are medically stable but need specialist care such as PEG, or for those who may need spasticity management or medication reviews.

During your time in an inpatient facility, you will be taught the skills necessary to continue your rehabilitation at home through tailored exercise programmes and functional activities.

Residential Rehabilitation at Chedington

Hobbs Rehabilitation are proud to introduce a world class facility in Dorset offering intensive and advanced rehabilitation for adults and children. The offering includes high-intensity residential programmes where whole families/carers can stay together. Day rates and outpatient sessions enable access to the whole estate including all health and wellbeing facilities such as pools, gyms and therapy suite, if requested.

Our dedicated multidisciplinary team at Oaksey House provide packages of rehabilitation to individuals who are living with a range of neurological conditions and injuries. This includes single-discipline assessment and therapy and holistic packages of multidisciplinary rehabilitation – all of which can be offered on an outpatient or inpatient basis. Oaksey House has wheelchair-accessible independent living flats on site, which allow Hobbs Rehabilitation to provide intensive inpatient therapy with the addition of care if needed and can focus on goals around the home to increase independence. Our holistic, patient-centred treatment programmes are tailored to the patient’s individual goals in an intensive setting.

Our inpatient facility at the Laverstock Care Centre in Salisbury is a self-contained, dedicated rehabilitation unit with ensuite patient rooms, a large gym, access to outdoor space, and a communal dining area. Hobbs Rehabilitation, along with our local care providers, Caring Homes, provides multidisciplinary neurological and intensive rehabilitation.

Hobbs Rehabilitation at Chedington can cater for the continuum whole rehabilitation pathway from sub-acute to outdoor leisure pursuits combining neurotechnology with hands-on treatment.

Our service includes access to consultants in rehabilitation medicine and specialists in spinal cord injury, amputation, complex brain injury. Programmes involve physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical neuropsychology, hydrotherapy and adaptive sport.
