I have really enjoyed my clinical placement at Hobbs Rehabilitation Winchester base. The whole team has been extremely welcoming and supportive. As a 3rd Year Undergraduate Physiotherapy Student at the University of Winchester, I have been able to work with a diverse range of Neuro rehab patients to expand and develop my knowledge, clinical reasoning, and experience in manual handling skills and Hydrotherapy techniques. I have also had the opportunity over the last 6 weeks to use a variety of Neurotechnology therapy aids such as Robotic Exo-Skeletons, Virtual reality and augmented reality headsets, and Upper limb gaming devices. This placement has been an excellent opportunity as a third-year student to see the differences between private and NHS settings.
