Neurotechnology at Chedington
Chedington provides access to state-of-the-art neurotechnology, including the UK’s first Lokomat Pro with adult and paediatric orthoses and the FreeD module.
Hobbs Rehabilitation at Chedington can cater for the continuum of the whole rehabilitation pathway from sub-acute to outdoor leisure pursuits combining neurotechnology with hands-on treatment.
Our service includes access to consultants in rehabilitation medicine and specialists in spinal cord injury, amputation, complex brain injury. Programmes involve physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical neuropsychology, hydrotherapy and adaptive sport.
Fully-equipped world-class gymnasium including conventional therapy equipment and strength and conditioning suite. Prosthetic workshop for immediate prosthetic or orthosis adjustments.
Aquatic physiotherapy is provided in two hydrotherapy suites, including a fully accessible changing facility with a tracking hoist. The pool features resistance jet technology, an underwater treadmill and an accessible sauna to support rehabilitation and recovery.
Alongside aquatic physiotherapy, our pools are also used for adaptive sport and activity sessions for both adults and children, providing a safe and supportive environment to develop confidence and skills in activities such as paddleboarding before progressing to open water.
All therapy programmes are tailored towards personalised goals, with a focus on functional independence, access to community and leisure.
