Placing You at the Centre of Care

Neurotechnology

Leading the Way in Neurotechnology

Hobbs Rehabilitation is at the forefront of trialling and embedding the use of neurotechnology into clinical practice. Hobbs was the first centre in the UK to begin using Ekso Bionics’ exoskeleton within its rehabilitation programmes. Evidence shows that high intensity and high levels of repetition of an activity enhances neuroplastic change, and can therefore improve outcomes. By combining hands-on concentrated rehabilitation services alongside state-of-the-art neurotechnology we help our patients to significantly speed up their recovery process.

More Reps, Better Outcomes

Every condition is unique and can affect people in many different ways. In order to provide an individualised programme which is tailored to suit your goals, an initial assessment is the place to start. Your therapy could include neurotechnology rehabilitation and/or a specific piece of equipment, but your therapist will discuss your suitability and clinical need during your assessment.

What to Expect

Neurotechnology can be a great addition to your therapy programme to help increase repetitions and speed up your recovery process. However, not all neurotechnology is suitable for all cases. Our Intensive Rehabilitation packages, which achieve better results in a shorter period of time, may also be suitable for you. During the initial assessment, your therapist will assess your movement and function and discuss your suitability for neurotechnology and/or intensive rehabilitation.
