Need More Information?

Explore a range of common questions and see how you may benefit from an assessment. If your question still isn’t answered, get in touch – contact us.

The right therapy depends on your individual difficulties, goals and rehabilitation needs. A specialist assessment will help identify which areas of therapy may be most beneficial. You may benefit from Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Neuropsychology, or a combination of disciplines.

Yes. Many people benefit from input from more than one discipline, particularly when neurological difficulties affect several areas of everyday life. Our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Neuropsychologists work closely together to provide coordinated rehabilitation around your individual goals.

Intensive rehabilitation may be appropriate for some people and involves a greater frequency of therapy over a shorter period. Whether this approach is suitable depends on your individual needs, goals, health and ability to tolerate increased therapy. Your therapist can discuss the most appropriate approach following assessment.

Yes. You can access therapy from an individual discipline that meets your needs. Your programme may involve Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy or Clinical Neuropsychology, with additional disciplines introduced if they would support your rehabilitation goals.

Depending on your needs and the service available, therapy can be provided at one of our rehabilitation centres, in your home or community, or remotely through video sessions. Your therapist can advise which setting is most appropriate following assessment.

Our centres offer different facilities, specialist services and areas of expertise. We can help identify the most suitable location based on your rehabilitation needs, the therapy you require and your preferred location.

We accept referrals from a range of sources, including individuals and families, case managers, healthcare and social care professionals, medico-legal professionals and organisations. If you are unsure whether Hobbs is suitable for your needs, you can contact us to discuss your requirements.
